Terms + Conditions


Hilda.com.au is the shopping website of Hilda Design and Beauty Supplies that allows consumers to browse, select and purchase products from Hilda ABN 76 440 409 877.

Use of the Hilda Website is subject to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.



We will gladly accept exchanges within 7 days of receipt of any item purchased from the Hilda online store that meets the criteria of our online returns policy. Please note, all Hilda purchases are final. No refunds will be accepted, except due to a fault.


1.  Simply email the online team at hello@hilda.com.au. You will be sent a Return Authorisation (RA) number upon response.

2. Package your item(s) into the original parcel packaging or suitable new packaging. Ensure you include your packing slip with RA number clearly printed (original or copy).

3. Return your parcel via your local post or courier to:

We recommend the use of a trackable, registered or insured service, as Hilda is not responsible for parcels lost in transit.


  • All return requests must be made within 7 days of receipt of your order.

  • There are no refunds on ANY items unless faulty or not as described.

  • We are unable to process refunds or exchanges for online orders in our boutiques or at our head office. All returns must be mailed to our warehouse.

  • We request you include your original packing slip with your parcel.

  • All items purchased in our online boutique must be returned unused, unworn and unwashed with original swing tags still attached or they may not be accepted.

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges on earrings or underwear due to hygiene.

  • All shoes should be returned without scratches or stains and in their original, undamaged packaging.

  • When trying on garments, please remove any jewellery to avoid damage.

  • Please allow 2 - 5 days for processing from the date we receive your item.


All items purchased online are final sale and cannot be returned for a refund unless faulty. Exchanges can be offered where applicable.


For faulty or incorrect items, Hilda will happily pay the postage costs for dispatch of the replacement. Hilda reserves the right to inspect returned items and deny return or exchange of goods if we do not see them to be damaged or in the case of exchange, if they are not returned to us in resalable condition. To avoid this, please remove jewellery before trying garments on and leave all swing tags and accessories attached until you are happy with your purchase. Every effort has been made to ensure the information contained on the Website is correct, however Hilda makes no warranty as to the accuracy, comprehensiveness, or correctness of any products on the Website, and provides all products on an "as is" basis.

Hilda, including our partners, directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties associated with running the Website, to the maximum extent permitted by law, disclaim all liability and responsibility for any loss or damage that might be suffered by you or any third party caused by the Website or the products sold on it including, without limitation, loss or damage suffered asa  result of negligence.

In order to purchase products from the Website, you may be given the option to create a Hilda account prior to making a purchase. 

As an account holder you are required to provide Hilda with accurate personal information. Provision of another person’s details as your own will not be deemed acceptable.

Any personal information collected by Hilda shall not be disclosed to any third party unrelated to the Hilda’s business unless such a disclosure is authorised or required by law, or you have expressly consented to such a disclosure. Hilda otherwise relies on its Privacy Policy.


Credit card information collected for the purpose of payment of products purchased at Hilda will be stored securely using a PCI DSS compliant solution.  

Credit card information will be masked on your account and will not be visible to Hilda Customer Service operators.

Provision of credit card information as payment for the product/s constitutes an agreement for your purchase of the selected product/s.

You must not pay or attempt to pay for product/s using fraudulent credit card information.

Security of Your Account

If you create an account with Hilda you will be required to provide a password. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your password.

Each time you use the password, you will be deemed to be authorised to access and use the Website in a manner consistent with these Terms & Conditions. This means that you are responsible for any products purchased using your account details.

You must notify Hilda if at any time you believe someone has access to your password. 


All prices on the Website are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST. GST is subject to change and users of the Hilda Website will not be informed by Hilda if a change occurs.

All prices are subject to change. All prices displayed on this Website are only valid online at the time shown.


Hilda attempts to present the availability of stock accurately however stock availability constantly varies and is only valid at the time shown.


Hilda will communicate with you about your order and the purchased product using email and by phone. Account holders must provide a valid email address to Hilda for this purpose

From time to time, Hilda will also send you marketing material. If you do not wish to receive such material, you may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by editing your settings under My Account or using the unsubscribe function in the electronic marketing communication. 


 Hilda reserves the right to cancel your order if:

  • You provide an unauthorised credit card

  • We are unable to process payment on the credit card provided

  • You provide invalid personal details

  • If, when required, you cannot provide acceptable proof of identity

  • The product has become unavailable

  • If, for any reason, we don’t reasonably believe we can successfully complete delivery

 Hilda will attempt to notify you before cancelling your order.


If you breach these terms and conditions, Hilda reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time without prior notice to you. If your account is suspended or terminated, you will not be able to access the Website.

If you are awaiting delivery of products, Hilda reserves the right to cancel your order. A refund may be issued to the credit card provided during the purchase process.


Hilda usually delivers throughout Australia generally within 2-5 working days. Hilda will use best efforts to meet the indicated delivery times.

All orders received before 3pm AEST are dispatched the same day and are shipped express post via Australia Post. Your order will generally take 2-5 business days to arrive.

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each order.

Your shipping address can be changed as long as your order has not left the warehouse. To change your shipping address, contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible on hello@hilda.com.au


The risk of loss of goods shall be passed to you upon our delivery of the product to Hilda’s nominated delivery company.


The Website may contain links to other websites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third parties. You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the operation of or content located on or through any such other website.


This contract will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising out of your use of the Website, or the products purchased on it, will be subject to the exclusive courts of that jurisdiction.


When you register your personal details to establish an account or to place an order, a secure server is used. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypts the information you send through this website. Hilda makes no warranty in respect of the strength or effectiveness of that encryption and accept no responsibility for events arising from unauthorised access of the information you provide.
